Welcome — I'm Christine Staricka, IBCLC.

Whether you're a family looking for trustworthy breastfeeding information, a clinician deepening your practice, or an organization looking for a speaker, you're in the right place.

I've spent more than two decades as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant — working in hospitals, community settings, and Baby Café Bakersfield, training the next generation of lactation care providers, and advocating for evidence-based, physiologically grounded lactation care.

Everything I do is rooted in one belief: breastfeeding deserves to be understood, supported, and protected.

Book Me to Speak

I speak at lactation conferences, continuing education events, and healthcare professional trainings. Topics range from early lactation physiology to ethics and the WHO Code.

The First 100 Hours

My book reframes how clinicians think about early lactation care — shifting focus from products and interventions to process, physiology, and confidence.
